Brief Project Description:Based on the allocated time to this particular assignment TAR Business Consulting, completed it using five different phases, where the first phase was to review existing documents about the project, followed by developing OD Assessment action plan, finalizing on OD assessment tools. Once the OD assessment tool were finalized the highly trained assessment specialists conducted a field visit to the offices of Afghanistan Peace, Education and Development Organization (APEDO). Soon after that the OD assessment was completed and the data was analysed the reports was drafted. The draft report and all the key findings were shared with the (APEDO), for their feedback, inputs and comments.

Brief Project Description:From August 01st – 07th 2019 TAR Business Consulting conducted three training sessions, on Advance Finance, Interview Skills, and Business Planning training. The advance finance training was for three days, starting at August 01st – 03rd 2019, for a total of 15 (06 females and 09 male) individuals, the interview skills training was for one day on August 04th 2019 for a total of five participants (01 females, 04 male) and the Business Planning training was for three days, starting at August 05th – 07th 2019 for a total number of 07 (03 females, 04 male) participants from the civil society organizations partners of Aga Khan Foundation. The participants had come to the training sessions from different provinces, including Baghlan, Bamyan, Takhar and Kabul itself. Some of the participants belonged to the media organizations, while others belonged to the civil society organizations and AKF staff members itself. The training aimed at improving knowledge and practical skills of the participants on financial management basics, interview skills and business plan development for their organizations. The training specifically targeted the individual as well as institutional capacities of the training participants.

Brief Project Description:ACBAR is implemented a DFID funded capacity building program, the Twinning Program 2, supporting humanitarian assistance in Afghanistan. This programs aims to improve the capacity of Afghan NGOs. ACBAR will coordinate and train Afghan NGOs to improve their capacity to assess and respond to humanitarian needs in Afghanistan and access international funding, including the AHF. Over the course of the program ACBAR has identified the need to develop the proposal writing skills of NGOs, so that they can confidently apply for funding and provide the necessary humanitarian services to Afghanistan. One of the major Challenge that the local NGOs are facing is lack of funding, limited access to donors, and low or no capacity existed for developing a proper proposal. Thus the capacity development training was organized for improving the knowledge and skills of ACBAR partner organization in the field of advanced Proposal Writing.

Brief Project Description:In 2018, Concern engaged an Islamic scholar and gender expert to develop a comprehensive training manual for religious leaders in Cha’ab district of Taloqan, and training was conducted with a group of Mullahs in this district. These Mulllahs have since been delivering gender sensitive messages through their Friday prayers and this pilot approach seems to have gained promising results. Concern aimed to strengthen its existing efforts to transform attitudes, norms and practices that perpetuate gender inequality in Cha’ab and also extend the approach to two other districts in Taloqan. Thus, Concern wanted to recruit a potential company that has qualified consultants to adapt the existing training manual for religious leaders into a short pocket book version to guide the Mullahs in disseminating messages to others, including religious verses, and to conduct a five-days ToT training for a group of Mullahs using the existing curriculum and pocket guide developed

Brief Project Description:Learning and Development Unit, Aga Khan Foundation (AKF-A) planned to provide Advance Monitoring and Evaluation training for its local staff in the country to strengthen their Monitoring and Evaluation skill. They wanted a potential vendor that can provide the required services in monitoring and evaluation section in Takhar, Baghlan, Badakhshan and Bamyan province. After the procurement process was carried out, Training and Research (TAR) Business Consulting was selected as the vendor to carry out the assignment. Therefor TAR Business Consulting was recruited to design and conduct this training and TAR Business Consulting successfully completed the assignment.

Over the course of the program ACBAR identified the need to develop the anti-corruption skills of NGOs, so that they can confidently apply the skills in their organizations to improve accountability and transparency. One of the major challenge that the local NGOs are facing is lack of their staff knowledge on anti-corruption concepts. Thus the capacity development training was organized for improving the knowledge and skills of ACBAR partner organization in the field of anti-corruption. In order to effectively develop the capacity of the ACBAR partner NGOs in anti-corruption, the training was planned to be completed in three days. Training and Research (TAR) Business Consulting conducted the training session on anti-corruption starting on August 16th up to August 19th 2020. August 18th was a government holiday. The training was conducted to 25 participants, out of which 6 of them were women.

Brief Project Description:Based on the Needs Assessment from the Directorate of Agriculture, Irrigation and Livestock (DAIL) team members in Paktia and Khost provinces, it was found that they needed training on Proposal Writing, Monitoring and Evaluation and Report Writing. Therefor TAR Business Consulting was recruited by (TLO) to design and conduct this training in Khost as well as Paktia province government directorates. The Proposal Writing, Monitoring and Evaluation and Report Writing Training were conducted to the (DAIL) Khost and (DAIL) Paktia team members in two rounds. Where the first round of the training was conducted from April 07th – 11th 2019 in Khost province, whereas the second round of training was conducted from April, 21st – 25th 2019 in Paktia province of Afghanistan. In total 70 participants were trained in both the sessions, including (40 Males) trained in Khost province and (30 Males) trained in Paktia province accordingly.
