The feasibility study was aimed at improving knowledge gaps for the design of a new project by World Vision Afghanistan (WVA) and its implementing partners. Besides that, the feasibility study assessed the problem and the expected project theory of change. Under this feasibility study, a comprehensive organization development assessment of the project expected two national NGO partners was performed, besides that a detailed stakeholder analysis was also undertaken.

This feasibility study had qualitative design, which was conducted in the Jebrail and Kahdistan areas of Herat province. Within the communities, the feasibility study did not only target IDPs, but also the returnees and host communities. Besides the community members, the feasibility study targeted relevant governmental and non-governmental organizations. Since most of the data were qualitative, thus the key informant’s interviews were the main data collection tool for this assignment.
